The Queensboro Symphony Orchestra, led by acclaimed maestro Dong-Hyun Kim, returns to Whitestone's Moakyang Presbyterian Church on Sunday, August 28th at 7pm for its summer concert . Classics to be performed are Mozart's 35th Symphony ("Haffner") and arias from Bizet's opera "Carmen" featuring soloist Sahoko Sato Timpone, mezzo soprano and Robert Heepyoung Oh, Baritone. Also QBSO's concertmistress, Jina Choi will be playing Beethoven's famous romance for solo violin and orchestra.
